Signature Skeins multi-strand art yarn in Iced Cherries (whites with bright accent colors)
Signature Skeins™ from Knittique are similar to the Best of Both skeins: each Signature Skein has 1 or 2 strands that change textures every so often (hand-tied together), and the other strands are continuous throughout the skein. The 2 differences are that the hand-tied pieces are random lengths instead of equal lengths, and the colors in each skein stay in one color family— my signature.
Bonus: Signature Skeins can also be used in combination with Knittique's Scraplet Skeins, Stranded Skeins, and Best of Both Skeins to make any Scraplet Skeins pattern!
Colors: It's hard to photograph white things properly, but these skeins are each a combination of pure white and off-white yarns, plus the bits of bright color in the "cherries". Skein A has a strand of white thread with tiny fuchsia star-shaped sequins. Sorry, Skeins B and C are sold out.
Skein A: Purple & gold "cherries" plus tiny fuchsia sequins
Because each skein is one-of-a-kind, the fiber content varies with each skein; please read the Materials list carefully.
MATERIALS: Signature Skeins™ typically incorporate a minimum of 10 different yarns, so each skein may contain any (or all) of the following fibers: wool, angora, cashmere, mohair, alpaca, viscose, cotton, silk, soysilk, bamboo, acrylic, polyester, nylon, metallic.
Weight: Approx. 9 oz.
Yards: Approx. 120
Gauge: The gauge of this specific swatch, made on a U.S. #15 needle, is 9 stitches/13 rows in 4"/10 cm. The swatch shown here is made with the exact combination of yarns as in the skein.
PLEASE NOTE: All yarns will be wound into center-pull balls before shipping, so they'll arrive ready-to-use! If you'd rather your yarn was left in skein form (as shown here), you must let us know when you place your order. Thank you!
PATTERN SUGGESTION: With just 2 these skeins (or any 2 Knittique multi-strand skeins), you can make the Loop Scarf/Capelet; it's shown here made with 2 Scraplet Skeins (240 yds. total, shown in Never-Boring Neutrals).
The pattern also includes instructions for making the Capelet with just 1 Knittique skein plus about 130 yds. of coordinating yarn! (See listing for this pattern for more information about materials needed for this project.)
Please note that this pattern is not included in this listing.
