Multi-textured Art-Yarn Necklace in Opal (pastels with gold), with Recycled Embellishments
The color of the knitted cord in this spring-y necklace is Opal, from my Birthstone Collection of skein colorways (see more skeins in the Knittique Collection). This asymmetrical style is ornamented with 2 gold-toned flowers that came from a single earring that I took apart; the smaller flower also has a tiny Swarovski crystal charm attached. A double strand of gold-toned chain connects the larger flower with the heart-shaped lobster-claw clasp.

The knitted cord is made with yarns from the color cards, like the Opal one shown here, that are made while developing new colorways for Scraplet Skeins, Knittique's unique multi-textured yarns. Upcycling at its best!
Like all my knitted jewelry (and my yarns), this necklace is all about beautiful color and textures, including the carefully chosen hardware. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear, and will dress up even the simplest outfits.
Materials: The knitted tubes includes wool, alpaca, mohair, cotton, silk, angora, nylon, polyester, acrylic, and metallic fiber. The connecting hardware, chain, clasp, and flowers are coated brass; flower centers are colored glass. The tiny green crystal is Swarovski.
Size: Total length of this necklace about 24" around the outside edge. The larger flower is 2" long.
This beautifully unique necklace will come to you nestled safely in a padded white jewelry box, packed with tissue paper and TLC. Perfect for gift-giving!
