Multi-textured Art-Yarn Necklace in Garnet (wine-reds), with Cabochons & Chains
The knitted cord in this simple-at-first-glance necklace is Garnet, from Knittique's Birthstone Collection of Scraplet Skeins™ (see more yarns in the Knittique Collection). The copper-colored chain component with the deep red cabochon stones work perfectly with the glowing golden-brown-wine tones of this colorway. And the fun flower toggle clasp is copper-plated brass.

The knitted cord is made with yarns from the color cards, like the Garnet one shown here, that are made while developing new colorways for Scraplet Skeins, Knittique's unique multi-textured yarns. Upcycling at its best!
COLOR NOTE: The necklace on the display looks a bit lighter than in real life; the yarn color card shows the colors of this necklace more accurately. These are definitely deep wine reds.
Like all my knitted jewelry (and my yarns), this necklace is all about beautiful color and textures, including the carefully chosen hardware. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear, and will dress up even the simplest outfits.
Materials: The knitted tubes includes wool, alpaca, mohair, cotton, silk, angora, nylon, polyester, acrylic, and metallic fiber. Nearly all the hardware is brass-based, with some small parts in pure copper. The stones are glass.
Size: Total length of this necklace is 21" around the inside (shortest) edge of the chain; total length around the longer (chain) strand is 24".
This beautifully unique necklace will come to you nestled safely in a padded white jewelry box, packed with tissue paper and TLC. Perfect for gift-giving!
