Knittique is now in its second year of producing exclusive, limited-edition hand-painted yarns, and this sumptuous (and machine-washable) wool sock-weight yarn is one of the luxury fibers I specialize in! Bonus: It's a great colorway if you're knitting something special for a special guy in your life!
This amazing colorway, Bronze Age, is the first in my new Minerals Collection, and features many subtle variations of deep greys and browns, sparked with accents of intense bronze-gold. Gorgeous!

Skein weight: 132 g/4.7 oz.
Gauge: U.S. # 2 needle: 25 sts/36 rows = 4”
PLEASE NOTE: All yarns will be wound into center-pull balls before shipping, so they'll arrive ready-to-use! If you'd rather your yarn was left in skein form (as shown here), you must let us know when you place your order. Thank you!
Care: Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Rinse in cool water, and gently squeeze out excess water. Lay on towels or drying rack to air-dry.
Note: This yarn can also be machine-washed on a gentle cycle in cool water, and machine-dried on low/no heat. Personally, I like hand-washing my hand-knits.
PROJECT IDEAS: 1 skein of Wiggly should be enough for 1 pair of adult-size socks. (Please note that I can't promise that, because I don't know what pattern you might be using, but in my experience so far, somewhere between 350-400 yards of a sock-weight yarn is enough for 2 socks.) This particular yarn is very soft and springy, so it would even work on significantly larger needles for something other than socks; this would create a lovely mesh effect that would look amazing in this hand-painted colorway!
P.S. There is a FREE pattern for a lace scarf on Knittique's website. You can use this pattern for virtually any weight of yarn; you'll just have to adjust the number of stitches you start with)
P.S. This color would be perfect for knitting into a manly gift!
