Hand-painted, luxury thick mohair-wool yarn in Atoll (aqua/turquoise/plum)
Knittique is now in its second year of producing exclusive, limited-edition hand-painted yarns, and this fabulous mohair yarn is one of the unusual luxury fibers I specialize in!
This beautiful colorway, Atoll (part of my Sailing Collection), is a unique mix of colors: bright aquatic turquoise and deep-water purple flash against the pale sea-green background. And the yarn itself is so luxurious— it's a thick, soft, fuzzy mohair that's practically weightless!

About this swatch:
U.S. #11, across 12 stitches
Gauge: U.S. #1 needle: 28 sts/39 rows = 4”
COLOR NOTE: When looking at this swatch, keep in mind that it was knitted across only 12 stitches; with variegated yarns like Atoll, the width of your piece has a lot to do with how often the various colors appear. So if you're knitting across, say, 20 stitches, the turquoise bits will be spaced out differently than in this swatch.
PLEASE NOTE: All yarns will be wound into center-pull balls before shipping, so they'll arrive ready-to-use! If you'd rather your yarn was left in skein form (as shown here), you must let us know when you place your order. Thank you!
Care: Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent; do not wring. Rinse in cool water, and gently squeeze out excess water. Did I say do not wring? Lay on towels or drying rack to air-dry. Shake to fluff.
PROJECT IDEAS: If knitted on a fairly large needle (U.S. 11-13), you could make a cowl or a small scarf from just 1 skein. You could also combine this mohair with our coordinating flag yarn, and knit the combination on even larger needles!
