Hand-painted bulky-weight Australian Merino Wool yarn in Cardinal
Knittique is now in its second year of producing exclusive, limited-edition hand-painted yarns, and this beautiful "felted" wool yarn is one of the unusual fibers I specialize in!
This vibrant colorway, Cardinal, features many subtle variations of bright-to-medium-dark reds, plus hints of deep bordeaux. Gorgeous!
Color note: My red yarns are consistently difficult to capture in photographs, but what I'm seeing here on my computer screen is as close to the real thing as it can get. Overall, this red is rich and vibrant; compared to my Valentine color, Cardinal is true red, where Valentine has some deep pink overtones.

Skein weight: 135 g/4.8 oz.

Care: Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent; do not agitate or wring. Rinse in cool water, and gently squeeze out excess water. Did I say do not wring? Lay on towels or drying rack to air-dry.
PROJECT IDEAS: If knitted on a fairly large needle (U.S. 11-13), you could make a cowl or hat from this 1 skein.
