Knittique's 4 Seasons 3 Ways pattern includes instructions for 3 easy-knit projects: a super-sized scarf, and Infinity Loop scarf, and a Cocoon-shaped jacket— and they're all made with just 1 rectangle, in a simple-to-knit, attractive Mistake-stitch Rib pattern.
Bonus: The pattern also includes ideas for variations using your own yarns!

You need to know how to: For scarf: Cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off. For Infinity Loop: Same as for scarf, plus provisional cast on (optional), invisible grafting. For Cocoon: Same as for Infinity Loop, plus sewing a seam.
Size: Finished Scarf and Infinity Loop are approx. 14" wide x 96" long. The Cocoon is approx. 36" long when measured at center back from top to bottom. Please note that this stitch pattern creates a flexible fabric; I measured these sizes with the rib slightly opened up.
Materials: Each of the 3 versions is made with a total of 4 of Knittique's Scraplet Skeins* (120 yds. each); you can certainly substitute your own yarn(s), as long as your gauge is the same. You'll also need U.S. size 11 needles, and for the Infinity Loop and Cocoon, you'll also need pins or clips and a weaving needle. Optional but helpful for all 3: a medium-large crochet hook for weaving in the ends.
Needles: U.S. 11 needles (or size that will give you the gauge noted below).
Gauge: For Scraplet Skeins projects, the gauge is an average, since there are so many yarns combined in these skeins; for this pattern, my gauge averaged 7 stitches/10 rows over 4"/10cm.
